Surface lesion with bony stalk and cartilagenous cap (cortex in continuity with stalk; medullary canal continuous with canal of stalk)
typically presents as a painless lump at the site of a tendon insertion
can undergo malignant change
should only grow while child is growing
Multiple lesions seen in Multiple Hereditary Exostoses
