Foreign Body, eye

• Can be conjunctival (palpebral or scleral) or corneal
• May be too young to express “foreign body” sensation
• Must be ruled-out in patients with unilateral conjunctivitis prior to treatment
• After removal do Fluoroscein test to evaluate for Corneal Abrasion

Presentation:

• Unilateral conjunctival erythema with tearing +/- discharge
• Frequent rubbing and blinking
